Hello Crafty Friends! Today I have a really fun free download for you or your kiddos to enjoy coloring in – paper doll coloring pages. You can use them to color your own bunny paper dolls – perfect for the Easter holiday coming up.
Last week I shared a post highlighting some of my favorite free printables on my blog for kids. My fun bunny paper dolls, originally created for my DIY Children’s Calendar, are one of my absolute favorites. Not only can you download them colored-in and ready to use – you can also download the color-your-own versions and enjoy coloring them in.
You’ll find the free printables at the end of this post. After downloading and printing them, color the bunnies using crayons, colored pencils or markers. Cut them out and have fun playing! There is an extra PDF packet full of more fun clothing options. If you are looking for a calming activity, consider coloring some yourself. I colored along with my daughter and it was such a fun project to do together.
While I do call these paper dolls, they do not have the traditional tabs that paper dolls have. I have made these using magnet sheets or with Velcro Brand Fasteners instead of the paper tabs. I find they are easier and more durable for my kids to play with. I would not recommend turning them into magnets if younger children will be using them as some of the pieces can be small. Using Velcro Dots is an easy and safe option that is also a little quicker to assemble!
The set of bunnies we turned into magnets is a fun quiet activity we keep in a large crayon box and can take with us along with a small magnetic board. Check out this tutorial, DIY Bunny Paper Dolls, to see how you can create them using magnet sheets or using Velcro. Velcro fasteners are a great option and if you can find the clear kind they really blend in.
