Experiment on Microwaving a Parchment Paper
I decided to do an experiment to see what happens when you microwave parchment paper. I cut a piece of parchment paper from the parchment paper roll. I then put it on the microwave plate and recorded the temperature at one-minute intervals using an infrared thermometer.
There was no change in the nature of the parchment paper. The parchment paper wasn’t charred nor burnt even after microwaving it for 7 minutes. The temperature of the microwave went up but surprisingly, the parchment paper did not retain fire. The paper was just warm to the touch and remained the same.
