How to make a star out of Paper Bags?

Making Paper Bag Stars is a breeze! Start by placing your first paper bag with the flap facing down and apply hot glue to your bag in a “T” pattern. Then, place your next paper bag on top, repeating this pattern until you have seven to nine bags glued together. The exact number is up to your visual preference.

Next, using a pencil, draw an arrow point at the opening of your bags. Then, draw the embellishment cuts you want to make on the side or middle of your bag. Simple triangle cuts on the side work wonderfully, but you could also experiment with half circles or half hearts.

Pro tip: After gluing all nine bags together, they can be hard to cut through. To make it easier, create two stacks of glued bags, cut them as desired, ensuring the patterns match, and then glue the two cut stacks together.

Once your cuts are made, open up the bags to reveal a beautiful star shape! To complete the star, hot glue the two ends together.
