Paper Gingerbread House

This gingerbread house paper bag craft is a great way to get kids involved in the Christmas festivities.
They can color in the candy decoration pieces any way they want and make a cute and unique holiday decoration!

Paper Bag Gingerbread House Craft
Supplies
- Brown paper bag
- White cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Crayons or markers (if using the color in version)
- Gingerbread house template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the gingerbread house template and print it out.
If you’re using the color in version, let your child color in the pieces of the house. Cut out each of the pieces.
Place the candy cane rectangles on the sides of the paper plate and glue them in place.
Next, glue the door in the middle and bottom of the paper bag.
Position the standard candy cane on either side of the door and glue them in place.
Take the window and glue it in the middle of the paper bag, above the door.
Next, glue the peppermint candies on either side of the window.
Glue the roof to the top of the candy cane rectangles, then fold the top of the brown paper bag behind the roof so you can’t see it. Tape the flap down on the opposite side.
Now your child has a cute gingerbread house! Of course, your kiddos can make a gingerbread house in any way they want! Let them use their creativity to see what they come up with.
