Paper Mario Super Block

Upgrade your partners and discover their unique abilities with our comprehensive guide on the locations of the image-packed Paper Mario Super Blocks.

Introduction

In the world of Paper Mario on the Nintendo 64, you’ll come across Super Blocks, marvelous upgrades scattered throughout the Mushroom Kingdom. Whenever you stumble upon one of these floating blocks, make sure to jump underneath it to unleash a blue orb and grant your partners an upgrade. Each of your eight partners can be upgraded twice – first to Super Rank, and later to Ultra Rank. With each upgrade, your partners will learn new moves and increase their damage output by one. Collectively, there are a total of 16 Super Blocks, with two specific to each partner.

Please note that you can only upgrade a partner to Ultra Rank once you obtain the Ultra Stone. This special item is given to you by Raphael the Raven in Jade Jungle during Chapter 5.
