- Colorful Paper
- Pencil
- Black Marker
- Scissors
Crafting Step-by-Step
Let’s get started on creating your very own dinosaur masterpiece!
- Select 3 to 4 different colors of construction paper or cardstock for your paper dinosaurs.
- Trace the dinosaur shape onto colored craft paper for the body and the separate leg patterns on a darker shade of the same colored craft paper.
- Trace the scales and spots on various colored craft papers of your choice.
- Cut out all the traced pieces, including the eye pattern directly from the template.
- Glue the scale cutout along the top curved side of the dinosaur body piece.
- Using the glue stick, attach the separate leg cutouts behind each leg part on the dinosaur’s body.
- Glue the spots onto the dinosaur’s back.
- Finally, attach the eye to the dinosaur’s head. You can use a googly eye for added charm. Draw the mouth with a black marker.
