To initiate a return or exchange for most unused items within 90 days of purchase, simply follow the steps outlined below. Please note that certain exceptions and exclusions apply, as detailed further in this article.
For web orders, we encourage you to reach out to our friendly customer service team at 1-888-626-7576. They will assist you in documenting your return or exchange and addressing any queries you may have. In most cases, a return authorization will be provided, and we will eagerly anticipate the arrival of your return.
If you prefer to return your web order in-store, kindly bring the item, along with the original packaging and invoice, to any of our convenient Camping World retail locations. Please keep in mind that shipping charges are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, with some exclusions that may apply.
For retail purchases accompanied by a receipt, we accept returns of unused and unopened items, along with the original sales receipt, for a full refund or exchange. If you have a gift receipt, you will receive store credit equal to the item’s value at the time of purchase.
In the event that you no longer have the receipt for a retail purchase, we can still assist you. The refund will be issued as a store merchandise credit, reflecting the lowest price within the last 90 days. Please be prepared to present a valid, state-issued driver’s license or state ID card for verification. Kindly note that returns without a receipt may be subject to limitations or refusal at our discretion.
Quill And Fox is proud to offer special privileges to our esteemed Good Sam Members. If you are a Good Sam Member with continuous active membership status, you can return any unused and unopened product purchased on or after February 9, 2018, at any time. Please note that certain exclusions may apply. We kindly request that Good Sam Club members remain active on the date of product purchase.
For Good Sam Protection Plans, we make the return process seamless. Simply visit our store for processing or reach us at 1-888-626-7576. In the case of purchases made with personal checks, a 14-day hold period applies before the item becomes eligible for return.
Exceptions & Exclusions
While we strive to accommodate returns and exchanges to the best of our abilities, there are some exceptions and exclusions to be aware of:
- Outboard motors, trolling motors, EPIRBs, boats, SPOT, life rafts, PLBs, Class B AIS, items with expiration dates, custom made/cut or special-order items, rigging, generators, electronic charts, mattresses, flares, hazardous items, licenses, and gift cards are non-returnable. If proven defective, the manufacturer should be contacted directly for returns or exchanges.
- Certain items, such as electronics, skateboards, bikes, software, bedding, canoes, tents, drones, and kayaks, can be returned within 30 days if unopened and unused.
- After 30 days, any defective products must be handled directly with the manufacturer.
- Clearance and Outlet items are sold as-is and cannot be returned at any time.
- Once an item has been installed, it is no longer eligible for return or exchange. In case of defects, returns or exchanges must be coordinated directly with the manufacturer.
- Returns of items purchased with a promotional discount will be prorated, with the value of the discount, free product, or gift card deducted from the reimbursement. Items received as part of a free gift promotion can only be exchanged if damaged or defective, and a direct replacement will be provided. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to previous purchases.
